Apparently I hunger
apparently I thirst
it seems that I am selfish
and always think the worst
of men and situations
and women don't get me started
Apparently I'm wicked cruel
but I protest
I'm tender hearted
It all just came from dreams
and who can account for those
they don't tell me who I am
they can't tell me what I chose
and if the prose of it
doesn't really make my case
