no escape
through no fault of my own
I'm in a wearing scrape
ain't it always something

Trying to nail the dismount
but I'm running with
the lot of these
day in day outs
weekend seekers
I used to ramble
with the artsy freakers
but I lost my
card chasing necessity
and it sure looks
like the rat race has the best of me
