Do I really want to
get up off the roller coaster
and get up on the
narrow and straight
have I grown wise, mature
enough to be a calm soul
in the face of all I dearly used to hate
I know that I don't
really want to
driven by the lash of need
driven by the status quo
and not a little bit
of greed
If I get jammed
in this narrow channel
