There is a grind to everything
no real comfort in that
Goes from you can do anything
to here, you wear this hat
if you choose to do a thing
say for a hundred and one
don't complain when
you find that it's lost its fun
Back at this square again
the grind drills very fine
I think it's minus one
I know that it's all mine
One last thing on my mind
it's something I can't say
pack the grind in again
it will be back another day
