Temptation to call a
bad feeling instinct
to blame current sorrow
on years of ignoring
surely misbegotten calling
mind and body distinct
I've got all kinds of theories
in retelling it gets boring
and all just want to know
what is the end of the line
always some new angle
that's appearing in my gut
oh what a deep dream
just at zero, feeling fine
like I always know the basics
but I'm always in this rut
