2.1376 : 2/7/09 : Unbind

Unbind unwind unwrap
the patient and
how the string doesn’t snap
before we land
back in the garden of the
lovely days
oh the sea oh the sand
oh my childish ways
If I could lift the weight
that presses on us
I just know that thing would change
no black, all plus
I’m such an optimist

Cheerfully predisposed by nature but
disappointment is reliable
And there’s nothing to be said
to buy me any scrap of real hope
I guess the sunshine always free unbound
at least allows me to cope
