Expecting death
is not pessimism
and in that simple horror tale
is the root of the death of -ism
and yet to dwell on it
is to poison what is sweet
in life and little as there is
it's a shame to waste the tender meat
Expecting ends
ages, civilizations
deaths of economies
and media and occupations
the only solution
that I've ever found
is to be here now
