With a list of actions
and a list of goals
I've made a list of likely suspects
For whom the bell tolls
make enough lists
the paper every room
to line the way from dark to light
to line the way to life from doom
tomorrow I'll stop writing lists
and take my cue to act
fight my way towards the door
through rooms where every list is stacked
and if I founder halfway
buried right up to my neck
I'll list out every consequence
to pick out from the wreck
