I've got a jones to get building
but get tangled in the run up
if this were a movie
or a video game (hah)
why I'd just get my gun up
and shoot my way
through the obstacles
Shoot my way through the choices
so much better than working things out
and hearing all the voices
you may say that's no way for building
you have to choose and take your pick
I'll say whoa look out behind you
then shoot right through your rhetoric
but I've got no gun and it's true
You must choose what's too be built
but you still need bricks and mortar
and they charge you to the hilt
and if you don't have the coin to pay
you won't build anything
but same old castles in the air
at my age that's worse than nothing
