I can get caught up thinking
how heaven could beat the heat death
but before I start that spiral
think I better take a deep breath
and try to focus on
not letting all drift on the same
As clearly it is time to up my game
It means going slower
and taming all distraction
hearing out the critics
working harder getting traction
most of all ignoring fantasies
of easy victory
the game is up oh mind
