Said things would clear and they did
are you starting to believe yet kid
not magical not serendipity
to have missed it would have been a pity
Saw the eclipse one night and late
the mists that occlude heaven's gate
I said I know it all will clear
and so it went and so now we're here
saw the shadow start and creep
worthwhile to keep me from my sleep
saw it redly full occlude
and then I was one happy frood
And cast off all the previous scripts
now happiness will all eclipse
