Riding the excuse
of everyone else
And so easy to
heap on the plate
And all succumb
to the logic of what sells
and I tell myself I
haven't quite left it too late
but the certainty
is it's later
and most of those I found
were lost again
oh come expand my mind
my time oh great dilator
and grant me faith at last
in my own pen
