The fall's so far
I fall asleep
dream I'm walking
a tightrope
up an incline steep
I got so caught up
in the oohs and ahs
I forgot to pull
my contract out
read the escape clause
everyone was hot
and taking sides
I was lost in
contemplation
of just what abides
can anything hold up
to the deeptime shuffle
the chaos boys
were grinning
I got ready for a scuffle
