I studied the principle
pushing 30 years back
now a hundred million miles
away from having the knack
the math to form the inkling
the glimpse of the reveal
and better not to think
of what I let my stumbling
random path steal
there's commonplace uncertainty
awash at every turn
at least I've lost the taste
of being clever with the savage burn
that I saw it as a glimpse
of reality's stark resolution
fuzzing out just where
You might have thought
there's be that fine solution
