I'd pay a fair price
for a shut down switch
because the inner voice
is well a bitch
and I am shooting
for a higher plane
above the grumbling crowd
above the stain
and I'd extend it
to society
the other-hate
passing for piety
failing the switch
I guess we sigh and fight
nobody said it
would be easy to be right
