Failing to Forget marked the end of Songs of Days volume 2.16, Wisdom, but we've only scratched the surface of the 500 song series Endless Axis: 500 Days of Light (brought to you by the Parliament of O.W.L.s), an attempt to maintain a spirit of optimism across a protracted creative output, and the longest sequence of the series, although I'm currently engaged in an attempt to write a series of 1001, as long as the original song of the day project. If I succeed I assume that will become the longest series of the second project, and unlikely to be surpassed.
And so on to volume 2.17, The Right Books, which opens with this quote from "Hormiga Canyon" by Rudy Rucker and Bruce Sterling:
