Thoughts knocking around
unproductive noise, not sound
What's the gear I need
to harmonize
While stones tumble
and the time flies
I put a lot into
the ever present grind
but never got me
an inch closer to peace of mind
and the refrain is
dead familiar
throw me a bone
hey would it kill ya
what is the gear I need
to get harmonized
I saw one used
but still so high prized
for me
so keep knocking around
with all the other
monkeys in this tree
