Hardly caring
and certainly not daring
and the discharge of the battery
seems to produce no energy
pins and needles
the old coward whines and wheedles
need I go on?
it's not much of a koan
did I used to be brighter
somehow more of a fighter
am I coming around
or just producing mocking sound
will it make it to the LP
I expect no one will help me
particularly as I fail to ask
and every moment is just a task.
