Steel horizons steel skies
Scale beggars imagination
On vistas as the crow flies
tanks like lakes
jewel-emerald with life
I dream the air silos
fields of division on the bioknife
Chlorophyll and concentration
the great inertial pumps
the works wrought in great black
yards of asteroid mine dumps
to dream a lifetime I'll never see
new fontiers and other well-worn copy
I circle on a glider of thought
Over rich outlets where the air gets choppy
