Such a protest
from the peanut choir
little distraction
from some genteel liar
and so we push one more
shipment through
special delivery

but distraction never
lasts for long
protest resumes
when the thrill is gone
another demand on
my attention
My occupation so suspect
I blush to mention
but if I don’t carry
the experiment through
