Why bother is the biggest question
in all of philosophy
And the fact that almost no one asks it
is just more proof
If you ask me
Is it just an itch we scratch at
Is it some compulsion of evolution
Or are we just so stupid
that we’re still expecting a solution?
People get worked up about
their little brainstorms true
I’m no better than the rest
Hey neither are you
And if I ask why bother
and come up with nothing at all
Well the fact that I just
keep rolling anyway
must hint at the genuine fall
