Do any turn the cheek
Do any give their cloak as well
And do these only find what they seek
Do any find a world without war
without injustice
without greed
Keeping the faith is so hard
So unnatural
So many in need
I do not keep the faith
I have a violent soul
I want to cling to what I think is mine
I don’t want the path
Only the goal
I pray to be completed
A good work once begun
I pray that this might be accomplished
