to house the Son of God
Moses and Elijah
both reverted to sod
and the lesson I was told
by the Voice from the sky
was try not to let the moment
pass you by
this was my epiphany
while the glory was revealed
I was fretting on the sea
that was getting very choppy
that was getting very rough
I remembered I had already
Said I’d had enough
but we didn’t stop we went
on up that mountain anyway
and that’s how I came to see the son
transfigured on that day
