took 8 minutes to get here
for light that’s quite a while
refracted through the atmosphere
bent and colored shining
through the clouds and through the air
polarities aligning
bounces off some mass of mass
whatever doesn’t get absorbed
reflected at the angles of
the incident and tangent of the orb
and so reflected passes by chance
focused by a lens
and tangles with a chemical plane
thus the photograph begins
